Whiskey Pete’s
We said goodbye to Jess and Gunther and Jim went to work. When he got back we decided to take a ride to a town called Primm, on the border of California and Nevada where we had passed two casinos while travelling on 15 between Los Angeles and Vegas. What piqued or interest was that there were two old time looking casinos called Buffalo Bill’s and Whiskey Pete’s that looked like they were from the old west . One boasted they had the car Bonnie and Clyde were killed in. It was about an hour from Vegas so we decide to make a day of it. They also had a pretty wild roller coaster that when it was built in the 90s was either the highest or fastest in the world. I forget which. The roller coaster was quite a thrill and the Bonnie and Clyde exhibit was very cool and informative. A bit outside of Vegas but definitely worth seeing if you have the time or happen to be passing by.
