Vancouver

Vancouver

Thursday was a down day spent doing laundry, giving the rv a bath inside and out, and just relaxing. Of course, that can only last one day in my world so Friday we went on a hop on hop off city tour of Vancouver. I heard alot about Vancouver being a beautiful city and although it was very nice I felt there was alot of homeless and it wasn’t anything special. But we did have a good time.

Even though we paid for the bus we decided we probably could have walked it. It’s not a huge city and we ended up walking more than riding. We started out on the water front area and then walked to Stanley park. From there we got back on the bus to the English bay beach area which was certainly not Florida beach standards but was pretty nice. Then we walked to the ferry over to Granville Island to a nice market area which sold all kinds of food products and crafts. It wasn’t too long before my beer low light went on and so we headed over to a waterfront bar and satisfied my thirst. After that we rode the bus back to the Gastown area which is where the car was parked and found a great place for dinner called Tempranillo. Then called it a night.
