The next day we took a ride to another park featuring red rock. This one was called Valley of Fire. After Red Rock I wasn’t getting my hopes up but this one turned out to be much more interesting and beautiful. It was almost a bit like Zion with cool rock formations and beautiful colors. They also had one rock formation with stairs way up high to some petroglyphs. Jamie did pretty well climbing all the way up those stairs considering she hadn’t been in physical therapy for very long. Although her legs were burning when she got down, lol. There was also a large area of sand that was as soft as a Florida beach. Again, about an hour outside of Vegas but worth seeing unless you’ve already been to Zion and seen enough of that kind of stuff.
