We finally left southern Michigan for northern Michigan, the site of the royal wedding. We had a campground booked up near the wedding venue, about 45 minutes north of where Jamie’s dad lives but decided we wanted to be able to spend time with them. So we ended up parking the rv in Jamie’s dad’s driveway. Luckily has has a very large driveway. He even has a 30amp hookup for us! This turned out to be a great decision. We got to spend some quality time visiting her dad, step mom, sister and brother-in-law and our niece and nephew.

Finally the big day arrived. 150 of our family and friends descended upon Lake Leland, Mi. I think that tiny town is still recovering from us. We had 3 days of fun and festivities including a sunset sail on Traverse Bay.

The wedding went off without a hitch and everyone had a great time.
