Off to Vegas!

Off to Vegas!

Tuesday we leave for Vegas. About halfway there we get this horrible sulfur smell in the rv. I pull over concerned something is wrong and walk all around outside looking in all the compartments but there’s no smell outside, only inside. Unable to find anything wrong we continue on and it last for about another 15 minutes or so. We had to stop at an rv dealer to have our shower door adjusted and I mention it to the guy. He says it’s probably just one of our waste tanks. That sounds good to me even though that’s never happened before but it’s gone now so I’m happy. We get to the campground and set up camp then go to dinner. It’s a beautiful campground and we’re very happy with our choice. We get home and go to bed, all is well. At 3:15 I hear a loud bang like someone fell in the rv and the whole rv shakes. I jump up thinking Jamie was up and fell but she’s right next to me. I say what was that but she didn’t hear it so she says what was what? I tell her what I heard and go looking around inside and out but see nothing unusual so I go back to bed thinking I was dreaming. At 5:00 it happens again. This time Jamie jumps up and says what was that! I say exactly and go looking around again. Finding nothing I figure it has to be the levelling jacks or tires settling and go back to sleep. At 6:00, yep you guessed it, there it is again. This time I don’t bother getting up convinced it’s the levelling jacks but pissed I’m probably gonna have to get them looked at. I get up a couple hours later and go outside expecting to see the jacks retracted somewhat but no, they are exactly where they were when we set up camp. Nothing else looks out of the ordinary either. Of course, now we’re starting to wonder.

We left for myrtle beach that night to close on the condo we sold and then head to work so we’ll see what happens when we get back. In the meantime, Jamie read a couple of things on the internet. The most reliable source of course. 1. An evil spirit can emit a sulphur smell when penetrating a new environment. 2. 3-3:30 am is a common for evil spirits to cause disturbances. It has something to do with a relevant time with the church and their rebellion against it. 3. Those disturbances typically come in threes. Again, I don’t believe in this stuff, but………

Thursday we closed on our old condo and moved all our stuff to the new one. We stayed in the new one Thurs and Fri nights and are very pleased with it. Even though we closed on the new one a few weeks ago this was the first time we had actually seen it in person.
