We decided to take a road trip to a town Jim went through on the way from Fairbanks to Anchorage while Jamie was at work. I did some research and found cute looking cabin, made a reservation and off we went. Following my gps we get to the town and turns out it was the wrong town! I was so mad at myself because initially it looked like the town was an absolute nothing but we checked in and decided to walk around. Got into the middle of town, which was still a very tiny town and not looking like much but as it turns out it was a real gem of a find! They had a little park and that afternoon a live band was playing. They had some real nice restaurants and cool bars. Plus, to Jamie’s delight, tons of gift shops! We spent two nights there and before we left had breakfast at their popular breakfast restaurant with a pancake to take all pancakes!
