Wednesday we played golf at Southern Dunes gc, checking off my top 100 golf course in the US for Arizona. The course was about an hour south of Phoenix and was very nice and a great price, 69 each, considering it’s high rating. We paired up with another guy who was great to play with. Even met him and his wife for dinner at the True Grit tavern named after John Wayne. Apparently Wayne owned allot of property in this area. Jamie played great and unfortunately for my wallet is really taking to the game. I’ve created a monster. But she’s really a pleasure to play with and we’re really enjoying that time together. There were a few coyotes and road runners on the course. We were told to watch for rattle snakes, nice, but we didn’t see any. I would like to get a picture of one but I’m not totally sane.
