We got back from our trek east and decided to check out Salt Lake City. We got a late start after Jamie slept till noon, big surprise, and went straight to the Mormon Temple. After taking a tour through the churches and facilities we found out they have the largest genealogy library in the world so we thought it might be fun to check it out. It turned out to be a 4 story building with each floor devoted to some type of genealogy research. We went to the floor that seemed to be best for researching our family trees and we were each assigned a research assistant to walk us through the process. Well we both got so wrapped up in it and were having such a good time the next thing we knew about 3 hours had gone by. So we got out of there with all our information and plans to continue our research from home. That was definitely the high point of our day.
