On to Branson, Missouri

On to Branson, Missouri

Nine days in Arkansas was about all the excitement we could take so after we got back from Hot Springs we left for Branson, Missouri. Missouri would be our final state west of the Mississippi. Again, we found a campsite right on the water with a great view from our front row spot. We were also a 10 minute walk to the Branson landing, a waterfront area loaded with restaurants, shops, and bars.

For anyone that doesn’t know about Branson I’d call it a hokey Vegas show imitation. They had all kinds of variety shows, impersonators, illusionist and magic shows. During our stay we saw a little of everything. After 9 months in Vegas it was hard to be impressed but we saw a few shows and museums that we enjoyed.

Because most of my posts for Branson have allot of pictures I’m also including a couple of pictures from a round of golf we played at a place called Buffalo Ridge in this post. It was a beautiful course and they actually had buffalo in fields surrounding the course. Some came right up to the fence separating the fields and the course!
