We got back from Hawaii on 5/18 and had/needed a down day. So Thurs and Fri were spent unpacking and doing laundry and otherwise relaxing. Then Saturday night it was time to get hopping again, lol. We went to the Stratosphere hotel and casino and went up top to experience their rooftop thrill rides. They had 3. One was a ride that hung over the side of the hotel and spun you around over the city. Neither of us are to into spinning rides so we passed on that one. Next two we did. One was a ride that shoots you over the side of the rooftop then suddenly stops as you’re feeling you’re about to plunge to your death. Only an idiot wants to do this. Or in this case an idiot and his crazy wife. Third ride was one of those rides that you sit in and it shoots you a hundred feet up then lets you free fall down then repeats. I will say you certainly got a good view of the city.

After abusing our minds and bodies we went to their rooftop restaurant. What a fabulous meal. Food and view were excellent. Stopped at the rooftop pool to check it out then headed home.

This is the final update to our “strange happenings” story. When we got back from we never experienced those occurrences again. True or not we both believe we had some sort of spirit come with us from the Grand Canyon Caverns and when we left for Hawaii they left. This is hard for me to even type because I don’t really believe in this stuff but Jamie kept saying over and over to leave and when we got back it never happened again. Cue to the Twighlight Zone theme.

I’m afraid we didn’t

A tilt a whirl hanging over the city
A ride that catapults you out over the city. You feel like you’re going right over the edge
A ride on top of the Stratosphere hotel. Shoots you straight up then down
