Miller Brewing Company

Miller Brewing Company

We were heading home Thursday morning when we passed the Miller brewery. We had no plans on going there but when we drove by it looked like kind of a neat place so we decided to stop in. While Jamie was browsing the gift shop, big surprise, I looked into the tours and discovered there was one leaving shortly. We really had nowhere to be so we decided to do it.

Frederick Miller started the company in 1855. Some unique things about Miller, it’s the only brewery with a public street that goes right through the brewery, they have a cave that was used initially to store their beer that you get to go in during the tour, this brewery alone produces 10 million barrels of beer per year.

It was a really enjoyable tour and at $10 apiece including four 8oz glasses of beer it was well worth it. After that we went home and packed to go to work the next day. Anyone dizzy yet? Jamie is, lol.
