Memory lane for Jamie

Memory lane for Jamie

Today we took a stroll down memory lane for Jamie. She lived just west of Atlanta for quite a few years of her youth so we went exploring to see her old house, schools and studio that she learned gymnastics, which was a big part of her life and she became very good at. She even tried out for the junior olympics and took third place. Not very interesting pictures for anyone but Jamie but I’m posting them since it is part of our trip and that’s what this blog is all about.

We did drive through the city on the way home and it was like a ghost town. With very few exceptions the only people we saw were homeless and police. A couple of places we wanted to visit were Atlanta Underground and the World of Coca Cola. The underground is an underground area full of shops, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, over the last few years it’s become run down and now taken over mostly by homeless. Not a safe place anymore. The World of Coca Cola is a museum showcasing the history of Coke. Unfortunately, it was shut down due to the virus.
