Liard hot springs

Liard hot springs

Friday we drove to the Liard hot springs state park where they had very nice hot springs bathing set up. Today was or first real wildlife viewing day. We saw a bear, some mountain goats, some very large bison right next to our campground, and a moose next to the hot springs. We also stopped along the way at Tetsa River Lodge, which advertised the best cinnamon buns in BC. They were pretty damn good. After dinner we walked to the hot springs and enjoyed a very nice bath. We also met the first set of numerous rv’ers that we would end up running into constantly from one stop to the next. Two couples we meet were from Michigan.

The bears appear as a little speck along the road till you get up close
