As it turned out the town was also hosting a legends of golf tournament that week. And to top it off military and veterans get in free! So Jim went Wednesday and Saturday and we both went Sunday. It was a senior pga tournament with all the top seniors and they also had an exhibition pairing legends Jack Niklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, and Jerry Pate with celebrities Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock, Mark Walberg and Larry the cable guy. That was fun to watch. Unfortunately, Jack got the flu and couldn’t play. I’m not a big autograph seeker but I would have liked to have gotten his. I did get Lee Trevino’s autograph and Jamie got Kid Rock’s.

This course was only a 9 hole, par 3 course but was one of the most beautiful courses I’ve seen. The driving range was incredible as were the views and how well it was manicured. I wanted to play a round there but the weather didn’t cooperate.
