For the 4th of July weekend we drove to Lake Tahoe to spend the weekend with Jess and Gunther and their friends Ed and Sandie at their place at the lake. We went to a beer/bluegrass festival, went out on Ed and Sandie’s boat, and drove around the lake. We’d never been there and it was beautiful with perfect weather the whole weekend. Sunny and 80 degrees every day.

We also rode up the ski lift at Heavenly Ski resort and got a beautiful view of the lake. The only downside to the weekend was Jim twisted his back and spent the next three days recovering. Too much pressure on the horseshoe pit.
