Kayaking and golf
Sunday we hit the beach at Whitefish lake for a relaxing day and brought our kayak along. Was a beautiful day spent relaxing on the beach and kayaking a couple hours around the lake.
Monday we hit the only golf course in Montana that made golf magazine’s top 100 public courses. We had a great start. I thought the route was pretty simple and I decided not to use my gps to get there. We ended up a half hour out of the way on a dead end road and had to track almost all the way back to the campground. We were gonna get there 45 minutes before our tee time but ended up there right at our tee time and had to rush out onto the tee box because they were booked solid for the next 2 hours. But we got off without a hitch and had a great day. Weather was perfect, course was beautiful and no one in front or behind us. Even better Jamie played great. It was only her second full round of golf but she hit the ball great. I don’t think she had one bad drive and hit alot of great fairway shots. She even got one onto the green from about 100 yards out to within ten feet of the pin. If we get her some short game practice she’s gonna be good.
