Woohoo, finally got out of Corpus Christi! Not that we minded Corpus but damn is it windy there! We left Corpus on 4/10 heading for Lajitas, Tx in Big Bend National Park with an overnight in our old standby Walmart in the garden spot of Del Rio, Tx. Was a decent enough place to stop on the way.

We made it to Big Bend on 4/11 and it’s beautiful here. Very desert like and campground is somewhat sandy but the park is very nice and the views are spectacular. The attached resort is very nice with a beautiful golf course. More info to come but we are very busy trying to get all the sites in.
