We left Louisiana for Dallas, Tx. We stayed at Sandy Lake Rv park which was pretty nice.

Day 2 started with a trip to Southfork Ranch. For those of you, like me, who never saw the show Dallas that’s the site of the famous show, Dallas. Actually most of the show was taped in Hollywood. But the way the story goes is the producers were looking for an authentic large Texas ranch for the “Ewing Ranch” and came across this one. They used it for many of the outside shots. For our Dallas fans enjoy the pictures. The rest of you can skipover them, lol.

After that we went to visit my cousin Joan. I haven’t seen her in about 30 years so it was really great to see her.

After that it was on to more catching up. We went to see our friends Kevin and Penny who we haven’t seen since July. Poor things have been cramming stuff into a short time like we were but they set some time aside for us and we had another great visit.
