Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame

Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame

We left Tuesday for Cooperstown, NY and the baseball Hall of Fame. This was someplace we both have wanted to see for years and finally made it. We found a nice KOA campground near the Hall of Fame and just relaxed the first night there.

Day 2 we headed for the Hall of Fame. We both found it somewhat amusing they chose this location since it’s in the middle of nowhere. Supposedly baseball was founded here in the early 1800s but it turns out that wasn’t true. Anyway we spent quite a few hours here and saw lots of very interesting displays. We actually felt this wasn’t set up as well as the NFL Hall of Fame but still very enjoyable.

After the Hall of Fame we hit a couple of breweries. The last one had a musician playing which we enjoyed listening to before heading home getting ready to leave for Burlington, VT the next day.
