Canyonland

Canyonland

Wednesday was our first experience off roading with the jeep. Moab is full of trails for all types of vehicles and all skill and experience levels. Of course, we started slow with easy trails but even so had allot of fun with it and, again, saw spectacular rock formations.

We brought lunch with us and found a great spot on top of a rock formation that had a rock bridge carved out on top. There was a plaque up there for some 19 year old that decided to try and drive over the narrow bridge in his jeep and went over the edge and fell to his death. We decided not to try that.

The beginning of our trail
No, we didn’t try that one
Pausing for a photo

An arch you drive through on one of the trails
The twin bridges from below
One of the two natural bridges
The other of the two twin bridges. This is the one that Beau tried to cross in his jeep
This kid tried to cross one of the bridges in his jeep
The walking trail to below the twin bridges
Made it to the top!
