Bonanzaville and the Roger Maris exhibit

Bonanzaville and the Roger Maris exhibit

The day after arriving in Fargo we drove north about an hour to a small town in Minnesota called Ada where we met up with friends we made that were parked next to us at our campground in Las Vegas. It was a fun day and they were very excited to see us.

The next day was a much needed down day doing nothing but some administrative stuff, some laundry, and vegging on the couch in front of the tv.

Rejuvenated, the next day it was back to sight seeing. We first went to a place called Bonanzaville. It had nothing to do with the show but was a mockup of an old North Dakota town with original old homes and businesses that were restored and moved from all over the state to make up this town. I have a million pictures and just couldn’t seem to weed them down to a reasonable number so you may or may not be interested in them all.

After that we stopped at a mall to see a Roger Maris exhibit. He was from Fargo and it had some interesting pictures and displays. From there we ventured out to some breweries and dinner.

The next day I dropped Jamie off at the airport for a couple days of training and a trip to Sydney. I played golf the next two days then had to leave for work, as well. After our trips we head to Michigan for Jordan and Tory’s wedding followed by another trip for both of us so it’ll be a couple weeks before we resume our trip.
