Back to the lower 48

Saturday I dropped Jamie off for work and I drove the rv to Seattle so we could park her for a couple weeks while we went to work to pay for all our fun. What a horrible ride I had to Seattle. The line at border patrol was almost 3 hours long. When I finally got to the booth I asked the inspector what was going on and according to him it was due to people heading south to watch the eclipse. That was crazy. I finally made it to Seattle and got settled in at a terrible Koa in Seattle but it was one of the few places that had availability for that long that I felt secure in. I could see why it was available. Spaces were extremely tight and I had to go back and forth numerous times to get into my spot. Plus in my particular spot there were low hanging branches that were scraping on the roof I ended up cutting back.

Anyway I ended up playing golf both Sunday and Monday. While that cat’s away :-). Sunday was at a very nice course called Newcastle. That’s where the pictures are from. Very hilly and very nicely kept. Monday was at another course called The Home 18. I believe it was supposed to be a  sister course of Chambers Bay and I was told it was a very nice course. It was nice but a bit disappointing. But I played golf, I’m not complaining.

Tuesday it was off to work for me. We both spent until the 30th working and visiting with Jamie going to Michigan part of the time and me going to NH for my mother’s birthday. Happy Birthday, mom!

We finally got back to the rv on the 30th and fortunately she was still safe and sound.
