On the 15th we headed for Atlanta. We slept in and got a late start so made a 2 day drive out of it just so we didn’t push ourselves. Where did we stop? Walmart trailer trash we are! We got to Stone Mountain Heights rv park which is about a half hour East of Atlanta thinking we got the perfect location. It was a half hour from Atlanta, and a half hour and 45 minutes from two of Jim’s longtime childhood friends.

Then the sh** hit the fan. The Corona Virus was taking hold throughout the country, the world actually, and things were starting to shut down. We were really excited to see the sights in Atlanta but it was looking more and more like that wasn’t going to happen.

We ended up with very limited pictures in Atlanta so kind of combining some post and pictures here. Although we had planned to get together with Jim’s two friends multiple times, social distancing ended that plan. We did get together with both of them once during our stay here so I just included a couple pictures in this post.
