During our stay in northern Michigan Jim got to play one of his favorite golf courses in the country, Acadia Bluffs. He played it years ago with Jamie’s dad and had been itching to get back. It’s a links style golf course that reminds me of St. Andrews, huge pot bunkers and all. The weather was beautiful and as usual the course was spectacular. At sundown they have a bagpipe player that plays at the edge of the course right in front of the clubhouse. He’s been playing there for 20 years.

On a side note Jamie set up a stay here with a round of golf for Jim’s 60th birthday. His friend, Gunther, from Florida even came up to play along with Jamie’s dad. What a great day.
