Pina air museum

Pina air museum

On the 6th we went to the Pina air museum. They have who knows how many airplanes there. Everything from a small single engine Cessna 150 to a Boeing 787 to B-52s to a couple of air force ones to some crazy places I’ve never seen before. Over 100 planes inside and out. Jamie wanted to take pictures with me in front of all the planes I’ve flown. They didn’t have all that I flew but they had a few. The C-141 you’ll see is one of the few remaining. Since they won’t be used again they’ve all been scrapped. This is actually one I’ve flown that was based at McGuire AFB. Unfortunately I don’t remember the names of all the planes I took pictures of.

We also went on a tour of the aircraft boneyard on Davis Montham air force base where they park planes that are put to rest either permanently or temporarily that can be recalled if necessary.
