We were originally going to stay in Marathon until the end of December but we had such a good time there we extended it until the beginning of February. But come February Jim was starting to become concerned that he was growing roots so he had to get moving, lol. We left Marathon for Fort Myers, Fl since we’ve never been to southwest Florida. We booked an over 55 community for a month with the intent of continuing further north after that. A week into the stay Jim took up tennis and pickleball and began making a bunch of friends. A week later we decided to extend our stay another month which turned into an extra month and a half going into mid April.

We did have a couple of excursions during out stay there. In February we flew up to NJ for Gigi’s 4^th birthday. She had a wonderful party with her favorite Disney character, Rapunzel, showing up to surprise her. Then on March 26^th Brent and Ashley delivered our newest grandchild, Arden. He arrived in great health and everyone is looking and doing great.
