Petrified forest national park

Petrified forest national park

We left Prescott for the Petrified national park. A park full of petrified wood. We weren’t sure what to expect but it didn’t disappoint. Looking at these large logs you’d swear they were freshly cut pieces of wood but when you touched them they were hard as rocks. Doesn’t sound very exciting but it really is in person. We found a beautiful campgroundin Prescott with plans to stay about a week and visit Prescott, Jerome and Sedona. Unfortunately Jamie got a last minute assignment for training so she could get requalified for work. It put a minor dent in our plans but we made the best of it….
