Zumanity

Zumanity

Tuesday night we had tickets to Zumanity, a burlesque type cirque de sole show. We took advantage of another of our free nights and stayed at the Paris hotel. $39. We got an early check in and got an upgraded room with a beautiful view using Jim’s “high roller” platinum status lol. Valley of Fire

Valley of Fire

The Michael Jackson Live show

The other highlight of the week was going to the MJ live show. This was a Michael Jackson impersonator that blew us away. He looked like Michael, he sounded like Michael, and he danced like Michael. This was a fabulous show and another on my must see list. Click on the picture above to see the videos.

May 16-21 our friends Jess and Gunther came for a visit. We had a great time casino hopping, hitting some great restaurants, and one day at the Flamingo pool with a cabana. One of the highlights of the week was our dinner at the Hafbrauhaus, a German restaurant where Jim and Gunther took their shots a playing the long horns. Those are trumpet type instruments that are about 15′ long. At first neither of them could make a sound blowing…

Our trip to Michigan

Our trip to Michigan

The rest of April was spent with Jim working and playing golf and Jamie starting physical therapy. And a few trips to the casino. We also discovered the benefits of casino rewards cards. When the Murphy’s came to town they were staying at the Flamingo which is a Caesar’s property. Jamie got a discounted hotel stay with her rewards card so we decided to stay there too. While we were checking in they had deal that if you signed up…
