Sunday we hit the beach at Whitefish lake for a relaxing day and brought our kayak along. Was a beautiful day spent relaxing on the beach and kayaking a couple hours around the lake. Today we went to Glacier national park. What a beautiful park. We drove around a bit. Followed the “road to the sun” about half way across the park from West to East. And did a couple of hikes, bear spray and bells in hand lol. We probably hiked about 5 miles that day and loved it. Click on the picture above to see the rest of the pictures.
They had a car show in Polson today so we gave ourselves somewhat of a down day and went to the show. It was actually pretty good. They even a ’69 firebird, my first car! We stayed two more nights in Great Falls before leaving for Polson rv resort in Polson, Montana and Glacier National Park. On the way we stopped at a cool trading post where Jamie purchased the bear bells she so proudly demonstrates. They are supposed to be used so bears hear you coming and don’t get startled.
